Kia Optima was launched in Romania image

The official Kia importer and distributor in Romania has announced that the new Optima has been launched on the local auto market.

According to the company, the price of the new Kia Optima in Romania has been set at 19,784 euros, VAT included, for the base entry-level version. Kia says that the new Optima is available with a single engine in Romania, a 1,685cc diesel unit, borrowed from the Hyundai i40. In standard, the new Kia Optima is getting features like the trip computer, electric front and rear windows, air conditioning, electric mirrors, central locking, adjustable steering wheel, CD and MP3 radio, AUX and USB connectivity, ESP with Hill Holder, adaptive headlights, front and side airbags, curtain airbags and a 7-year warranty.

The top of the line version of the Kia Optima is adding leather upholstery, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking sensors, rear view camera, navigation system, xenon adaptive headlights with washers, electric sunroof and more. As a quick reminder, the new Kia Optima was officially presented to the public during the 2010 Paris Motor Show and the model is a direct competitor to the VW Passat, Opel Insignia, Citroen C5, Ford Mondeo, Mazda 6, Renault Laguna, Peugeot 508, Hyundai i40, Seat Exeo, and Toyota Avensis.
