The South Korean based automaker Kia has recently announced that the Pro Cee’d GT will make its way onto the market in 2013.
After a rumor has appeared which was saying that a hot hatch version of the new generation Kia Pro Cee’d will be launched sometimes next year, the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, but not as you might have imagined. The carmaker is planning to develop a an even hotter version of the new-gen Kia Pro Cee’d, which will wear the GT badge on its body and it will be inspired by the Kia GT Concept, drawn by Peter Schreyer.
If the Kia Pro Cee’d GT was a simple rumor until now, that rumor is getting ready to become a reality and those of you who are interested in it will have to wait a few months more until you will be able to spot it at a showroom nearby. The 2014 Kia Pro Cee’d GT is rumored to get a 3.3 liter V6 turbocharged petrol engine under its hood, which should produce a total output of 390 HP and 543 Nm of torque, which will probably be sent to the rear-wheel drive through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
