The South Korean based automaker Kia has recently confirmed a hotter version of the second generation Pro Cee’d, which will be named the GT.
After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new generation of the Kia Cee’d is entering our news once again, this time with the carmaker confirming for production a hot version of the Pro Cee’d, which will be named the GT. According to the car manufacturer, the Kia Pro Cee’d GT will get a 1.6 liter turbocharged gasoline engine under its hood and it will be offered as a three-door coupe, a five-door hatchback and probably as an estate two.
Kia didn’t announce a lot of details on the upcoming Pro Cee’d GT but we know that the first two versions, the three-door coupe and the five-door hatchback, will be officially presented to the public next year, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. The estate variant might debut later on, probably during the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Additional details on the Kia Pro Cee’d GT are limited for the moment and will be announced at the Swiss automotive event next year.
