Kia is planning to develop a hot hatch version of the new Pro Cee’d which should hit the market sometimes next year with 200 BHP.
The South Korean based automaker is trying to keep the hot hatch version of the new Kia Pro Cee’d a secret for the moment but according to autocar.co.uk, the model will hit the market in 2013. Our source is saying that the hot hatch Pro Cee’d will get a turbocharged 1.6 liter petrol engine which should have a total output of around 200 BHP. The model will get bespoke chassis settings, a body kit, some minor tweaks in the cabin and 18-inch alloy wheels.
No more details are known for the moment on the upcoming Pro Cee’d hot hatch, except for a rumor which is saying that the version might make its public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, but we can tell you that the new generation of the model has been recently revealed, ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show on the 27th of September. The 2013 Kia Pro Cee’d is expected to get a range of 1.4 and 1.6 liter petrol and diesel engines under its hood.
