Kia has officially introduced the new Pro_cee’d GT in Australia where the model in question has been priced from 29,990 AUD.
Kia is currently offering the Pro_cee’d GT in Australia where the three-door hot hatch has received the dual zone climate control, the rain sensing wipers, the automatic headlights, the electric folding and heated mirrors, the reverse parking sensors, cornering lights, six-speaker audio system with Bluetooth streaming and more. The GT Tech version is adding the panoramic sunroof, the privacy glass, the door handle light, the keyless entry with push button start, the luggage net, HID headlights and so on.
The carmaker says that the Pro_cee’d GT can be yours from 29,990 AUD while for the Pro_cee’d GT Tech, its future customers will have to pay at least 33,490 AUD before being able to take it home. Power is being provided in both versions by a 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, which is developing a total output of 150 kW at 6,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 265 Nm, available between 1,750 and 4,500 rpm. The unit is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, which is allowing the hot hatch to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 230 km/h.
