The South Korean based automaker Kia has released a teaser image of the Track’ster Concept, ahead of its official unveiling at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.
With only one week separating us from the new North American automotive even, the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, Kia is already previewing its latest creation, a concept car named the Track’ster. According to the car manufacturer, the Kia Track’ster is actually a hot hatch concept, which is based on the popular Soul model, and even if this is supposed to be unique, I can’t help it think about the Suzuki Swift Sport when I see it.
Even if we don’t have any official details on the Kia Track’ster Concept, this model won’t catch the production line, but it will most likely underpin future vehicles wearing the South Korean badge on them, and it’s also the company’s vision of the future. There’s no word on the Kia Trak’ster Concept’s drivetrain either but the vehicle might be powered by the same engine used in the Hyundai Veloster Turbo, the new Gamma Turbo GDI, so a total output of around 200 horsepower is expected. Sadly we don’t have any more details on the Kia Track’ster Concept but the model will make its debut at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, next week, and the carmaker will release more data on it.
