The Kia Trail’ster Concept has received a new teaser as the model in question will be making its public debut next week, at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.
Kia’s newest creation is called the Trail’ster and this is a concept car which will be officially presented to the public during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, next week. The model in question might actually be an evolution of the Track’ster Concept, unveiled during the same automotive event three years ago, and it is believed to adopt four doors and a fully retractable canvas roof.
The brand new Kia Trail’ster Concept will also receive some body cladding which will completely change its looks and it will give it a more rugged design, along with the aluminum underbody protection and the alloy wheels, finished in a two-tone and wrapped with the large tires.
The most important part of the Kia Trail’ster is the electric all-wheel drive system, which was officially announced by the South Korean based automaker, but if you wanted to find out more about it, you will have to wait because the company hasn’t detailed it, at the moment. We have no clue what engine the Trail’ster will be using under its hood, but as you probably remember, the Track’ster came with 250 HP (186 kW) from a 2.0 liter inline four-cylinder unit, connected to a 6-speed manual. More details on the new one-off vehicle coming from Kia will be announced on the 12th of February, in Chicago.
