A Koenigsegg Agera R replica has been recently crashed during a scene in the new Need for Speed movie.
The upcoming Need for Speed movie is promising to be quite interesting when talking about the supercars which will play the main roles and one of these vehicles is pictured above. The model in question is a Koenigsegg Agera R, but rather than using the real deal, the director used a replica. The decision was the right one considering the fact that the script said to crash to impressive ride. The “incident” took place in California on a closed road and the effects hopefully worked.
As a quick reminder, the real Koenigsegg Agera R has been officially presented to the public back in 2012, in a world premiere, during the Geneva Motor Show. The model is coming with 1,140 on E85 fuel, enough for a 0 to 300 km/h accelerate of just 14.53 seconds and a stopping time of 6.66 seconds from 300 km/h back to 0. The 0 to 200 mph sprint takes 17.68 seconds and the 200 mph to 0 mph deceleration takes 7.28 seconds. Top speed stands at 440 km/h (273 mph).
