Swedish based automaker Koenigsegg has released the second image teaser with the Agera RS which will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, next Tuesday.
Koenigsegg wants to keep it ahead of its times and remain the only carmaker that produces megacars and after the One:1, which has been shown last year in Geneva, time has come for the company to get ready for the unveil of yet another megacar, the Agera RS. The model in question will be joining the One:1 as the world’s second megacar and in order to mark the event, another teaser with the model has been released recently.
The image posted above is basically a sketch which is partially revealing the rear quarter panel of the upcoming model, with the large rear wing and that instantly recognizable design of the roof. The new Agera RS is said to benefit from some of the technologies which have been implemented in the One:1 but this will also keep the same features as the Agera S and Agera R, like the luggage compartment, the rear window or the detachable and stowable hardtop.
The Koenigsegg Agera RS is believed to have lost some weight compared to the Agera R and to pack a more powerful 5.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine than the already available model, which is said to be close to 1 megawatt, if not even more powerful. More details on the upcoming vehicle are limited at this time and will probably be announced in Geneva.
