There are those affluent supercar aficionados that own the holy hybrid supercar trinity – Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1 – and then there are those who think outside the box.
Our example has a car lover that has decided his supercar holy trinity should be much more exotic – which is why the latest Koenigsegg Agera XS is being parked from now on next to a Lamborghini Veneno and a bespoke Pagani Huayra. Of course, all these are facets to the same coin – each and every one of them costs more than an arm and a leg and will go anytime above 200 mph (321 km/h). But multi-millionaire Kris Singh certainly needed to stand out from the thin crowd of such owners, taking home to play with a $4 million Lamborghini Veneno or the one-off Pagani Huayra “La Monza Lisa,” the one-of-a-kind Agera XS that was revealed just this weekend at Pebble Beach.
This is the first Regera RS that has received the full homologation for use in the United States, and was shipped by airplane directly from Koenigsegg headquarters in Angelholm, Sweden, for the occasion. The model is now the most powerful in the investment banker’s collection – 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 packs 1,160 horsepower (865 kW). It appears the new home in Miami, Florida, will have to wait a little longer because it will be flown back to Sweden for the last minute final tests on the roads and on the track.
