The legendary boxer has recently gone through “The Fight of the Century” against Manny Pacquiao and after winning by unanimous decision he also got a spectacular total purse of around $600 million.
And such amounts call for a celebration, and what better way to do it than purchase one of the fastest but also rarest hypercars in the world. Bugatti’s recently sold out Veyron might be the world’s fastest production cars in the world, but with 450 units delivered around the world it’s certainly not an exclusive affair. One such feat might be landed by having in the garage the Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, with Floyd even claiming there are only two in existence so far – his being the unique US-specification model. And while the car cost him $4.8 million, when judging by his fortune we might say it was a bargain. We can also argue that Koenigsegg’s official website claims there are three CCXR Trevitas in existence, but that’s like fighting over pennies, after all.
Just a quick reminder, this is what Floyd gets for his money – by the way, he said on previous occasions that he doesn’t even drive his exquisite rides – from the CCXR Trevita. The carbon-fiber bodied vehicle has a 4.8-litre V8 under the hood churning out 1,065 ponies that spearhead the model to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds and then jump to 200 km/h in under 9 seconds. The top speed is yet unknown but all notices point to being over 250 miles (400 km/h).
