Koenigsegg One:1 could sell for $600,000 to $700,000

The brand new record-breaking Koenigsegg One:1 could sell for somewhere between 600,000 USD and 700,000 USD.

Remember the Koenigsegg One:1? Well, if you don’t, we will remind you that this is the new fastest production car, stealing the crown form the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. And ever since it was officially unveiled, a few months back, car collectors from all over the world wanted a piece of the action, but its price remained unknown. That is until now, because new rumors which are coming from the Asian automotive media are stating that the upcoming “megacar” will cost somewhere between 600,000 USD and 700,000 USD.

This is quite a cheap price considering the impressive performance behind the Koenigsegg One:1 and comparing it to its main rival, in terms of speed anyway, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. The supercar has a 5.0 liter V8 aluminum engine under its hood, developing 1,341 HP (986 kW) and 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) of torque, at 6,000 rpm. The model weighs 1,341 kg (which is where its name is coming from, power-to-weight ratio) and it can reach a top speed of 450 km/h. The 0 to 400 km/h (248.5 mph) sprint is made in just 20 seconds and from that speed, the supercar can stop in 10 seconds.
