Koenigsegg One:1 debuts in the U.S. image

Koenigsegg has officially announced its plans to introduce the One:1 megacar to the United States for the very first time.

After setting a lot of records on the Old Continent, time has come for the Koenigsegg One:1 to be introduced in another market, North America. The announcement has been made recently by the car manufacturer as the megacar will be shown at the Monterey Car Week 2015. The vehicle will also be brought to The Quail – a Motorsports gathering, on the 15th of August, as it will be displayed at the Michelin Stand at the Rolex Reunion held at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

This particular Koenigsegg One:1 is the last of six customer versions produced and it has a gloss white finish on its exterior design, some bright red elements and numerous carbon fiber parts. The megacar will be delivered to its U.S. owner not long after the festivities at Monterey will conclude and it is making use of a 5.0 liter aluminum made engine, which is capable of producing an astonishing 1,341 HP (986 kW) and 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) of torque. The vehicle is taking its name from its power to weight ratio as it is weighing 1,341 kg. In terms of performance, it is faster than the hybrid hypercar trio and it is also putting the Bugatti Veyron into the dust, with a top speed standing in at 450 km/h. The Koenigsegg One:1 has been shown back in 2014, during the Geneva Motor Show.
