The Koenigsegg One:1 will be officially presented to the public in March, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, as the carmaker has recently announced.
Koenigsegg’s newest creation is named the One:1 and it’s believed to be rivaling the Bugatti Veyron in terms of top speed. This isn’t the first time when Koenigsegg is aiming to becoming the company which is producing the fastest supercar in the world and it seems that the carmaker now has what it takes in order to beat Bugatti Veyron’s top speed. The One:1 is referring to its power to weight ratio, as it will have 1,400 HP (1,044 kW) and it will be weighing 1,400 kg (3,086 lbs).
The weight will include all fluid and also the weight of an average sized driver. The 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) acceleration will become a new record, as well as the 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) and 0 to 400 km/h (248 mph) and it’s believed that this last 0 to 400 km/h sprint will take approximately 20 seconds. Top speed of the Koenigsegg One:1 will stand at approximately 450 km/h (280 mph) and it will be limited by the tires. The fastest car in the world, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition has achieved a top speed of 431 km/h (268 mph).
