Koenigsegg is planning on introducing a brand new megacar at the upcoming 2015 Geneva Motor Show, next month, which will be apparently called the Regera.
Koenigsegg has managed to break boundaries with its creations and after showing us a lot of different Agera supercars, time has come for the company to pull the wraps off the impressive One:1, or the world’s first megacar, as it has been called. Now, a year later, the carmaker is getting ready to introduce yet another megacar, the so-called Regera. The company is cheap on releasing performance details on the model in question, but it hasn’t hesitate to hint that this will produce at least 1 megawatt, which is basically 1,341 HP (986 kW).
Don’t expect to find this announcement anywhere but considering the fact that the One:1 has been referred to as the world’s first megacar, and this is producing the output mentioned above, along with 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft), the Regera is expected to be even more powerful, so say goodbye to the successor of the Bugatti Veyron, as it may come out way too late in order to become the fastest production supercar on the planet. Keep in mind that the Koenigsegg One:1 is capable of achieving 400 km/h (248 mph) in approximately 20 seconds, which is simply staggering for our times. The One:1 is taking its name from its power-to-weight ratio, as it is good for 1,341 HP and it is weighing 1,341 kg. More details on the new megacar are limited at this time.
