Christian von Koenigsegg says that the impressive Agera R can take down the Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Pagani Huayra.
Present at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Christian von Koenigsegg has answered every question and has managed to create an argument between fans of the newest and most impressive supercars out there. According to the guys at Cars UK, the crew at Koenigsegg, along with its CEO, believes that the Agera R can take down the Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Pagani Huayra, saying that their supercar can turn out a faster lap than the “God of Wind” on the Top Gear test track.
If this is true, only time can prove it, but in the meanwhile we can tell you that the Koenigsegg Agera R is powered by a 5.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 1,115 HP and it has a peak torque of 885 lb-ft, when running on E85 fuel, while with a tank filled with 95 octane the output stands at 940 HP and 811 lb-ft of torque. The Agera R can accelerate form 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 240 mph.
