Reiter Engineering and KTM have recently released some new details and a teaser image with the upcoming X-Bow GT4, which will be introduced sometimes next year.
KTM’s newest addition will be called the X-Bow GT4 and it will enter the company’s lineup in 2015. The image posted above is basically a teaser but we can still see a number of changed made to the model which include the new front fascia, the carbon fiber front splitter, the new body panels, the prominent rear wing and the enclosed cockpit, amongst others.
“Since the new car is based on the KTM X-BOW, the customer is going to get a racing car that has now been tested on the world’s racing circuits for six years. When you reflect on what the customer is being offered here in terms of the most modern racing technology, together with a very impressive safety concept, then you can really speak about it being exceptionally good value for money”, said Hans Reiter, the owner of Reiter Engineering.
The brand new KTM X-Bow GT4 has a 2.0 liter TFSI petrol burner under its hood, which is connected to a 6-speed sequential transmission with paddle shifters and it is producing a total output of 320 HP (238 kW). The vehicle will be eligible to compete in the Pirelli World Challenge GT-S and the SRO GT4 classes. More details on it are limited at this time.
