KTM is currently working on an update of the X-Bow, which is expected to hit the market with some extra features like a windscreen and doors.
Even if there is no official word on the new KTM X-Bow from the manufacturer just yet, rumors are saying that the new version will debut in spring 2013. The upcoming KTM X-Bow is expected to get a windscreen and a set of doors, and the Austrians are taking into consideration fitting a heated windscreen after giving up on the idea of a solid roof because of high costs. The new X-Bow will get a temporary roof which can be used up to 130 km/h, similar to the one found on the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport.
The new KTM X-Bow is expected to make its way onto the market in spring 2013 and the model might be officially presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show next year. The model will go against the Caterham Seven and the Lotus Elise, aiming for customers who want a real sports car with a minimum comfort. Besides the new version of the X-Bow, KTM will also develop a model for Le Mans, which will race in the LMP2 class and it will be powered by the same engine used in the Audi TT-RS.
