A unique race day event for McLaren owners has been held recently at the Kyalami racetrack.
Just because you are living in South Africa doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy your brand new ride, especially if that ride is made by McLaren. The images posted below are showing a unique track day event held at the Kyalami racetrack and they are showing us several MP4-12Cs, an F1 and even the impressive P1 hybrid supercar. The P1 has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in its final production form, for the very first time.
The model is currently going head to head with the Ferrari LaFerrari and with the Porsche 918 Spyder and it is being assembled in the Woking, Surrey, England facility. The supercar is offered in a two-door coupe body style, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout and it has been produced in just 375 units. Power is coming from a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 petrol engine, which is rated at 727 HP (542 kW) and 719 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 176 HP (131 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque electric motor The total output delivered stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque.
