The facelifted version of the Toyota Prius V has been introduced recently in Los Angeles.
Toyota has prepared a facelifted version of the Prius V, for the 2015 model year, which has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The model in question has a more aggressive design compared to the already available model and it is easily recognizable as it has been fitted with a different grille, with restyled headlights, a new front bumper and it several additional shades, including the Toasted Walnut Pearl, the Absolutely Red and the Attitude Black Metallic.
Interior changes are limited for the updated version of the Prius V and they include the 6.1-inch display for the Entune infotainment system, the 4.2-inch TFT display in the instrument cluster in the higher-end versions, the 8-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support and several other tweaks. Toyota says that the Hybrid Synergy Drive system has been carried over and it includes the same 1.8 liter Atkinson cycle engine, backed up by the electric motor. The total output produced by the assembly is 134 HP (100 kW). This is allowing an estimated 44 / 40 mpg in city / highway. No pricing details have been announced yet.
