The 2016 Acura ILX has recently made its public debut during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Acura has introduced the 2016 ILX in Los Angeles with its sporty front and rear bumpers, with the revised front grille, the new Jewel Eye LED headlights, the updated taillights, the restyled alloy wheels, the A-Spec variant with sportier side skirts, fog lights, trunk mounted spoiler or 18-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.
The interior design of the facelifted Acura ILX has received additional sound deadening material, silver trim, contrast stitching, navigation system, AcuraWatch suite with the Adaptive Cruise Control, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assist, Collision Mitigation Braking and pedestrian sensing. As far as the engine goes, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder has been replaced by the 2.4 liter unit, which is 51 HP (38 kW) and 54 Nm (40 lb-ft) of torque more powerful, to a total of 201 HP (150 kW) and 243 Nm (180 lb-ft) of torque. This will be connected to an 8-speed dual clutch transmission. The 2016 Acura ILX will go on sale shortly but no pricing details have been announced at the moment.
