Kia has introduced an updated version of the Sorento at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The U.S.-spec version of the Kia Sorento has been recently unveiled during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The model in question is looking identical to the variants already available in Europe and in Asia and it is coming with the same “tiger-nose” grille with a 3D diamond pattern, with sweptback headlights, a higher beltline, a gently sloping roofline, some chrome trim, a tailgate mounted spoiler and a choice of 17- to 19-inch rims.
Standard features found on the entry-level model include the small 4.3-inch display touch screen for the infotainment system, the air conditioning, faux wood trim, Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, panoramic sunroof, 8-inch display for the UVO infotainment system, an Infiniti audio system and so on. As far as the engine lineup goes, this includes three units, the 2.4L GDI four-cylinder with 185 HP (138 kW) and 241 Nm (178 lb-ft) of torque, the 2.0 liter GDI four-cylinder with 240 HP (179 kW) and 352 Nm (260 lb-ft) and the 3.3L GDI V6 with 290 HP (216 kW) and 341 Nm (252 lb-ft). All units are connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission and they can be had with the AWD system.
