After it was recently unveiled online, Chrysler officially introduced the revised 2014 300S on the floor of the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The updated model has tinted headlights, a black chrome grille and gloss black window trim, with 20-inch alloy wheels and an optional gloss black roof – al changes made to assure the model is now even more imposing.
Inside the cabin we come across Black or Ambassador Blue leather sport seats, silver contrast stitching and piano black trim. We can also find “matte carbon hydrographic” accents and die-cast paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Other notable highlights include a Beats by Dr. Dre audio system with 10-speakers and a 12-channel amplifier, all connected to the Uconnect infotainment system.
Of course, more importantly we need to know what’s “ticking” under the bonnet – where Chrysler has provided its US customers with two choices: a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 thatproduces 300 hp (223 kW) and the famous 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which develops 370 hp (275 kW). Models equipped with the latter engine also receive a sport-tuned suspension and a high-performance braking system.
