The Japanese based automaker Subaru has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 Forester during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
After the new generation of the Subaru Forester has been officially unveiled in its home market a few weeks ago, time has come for the North American aimed version to make its public debut to the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, where the carmaker has brought the model. According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Subaru Forester is getting updated suspension for more control and greater comfort, with an 8.7-inch ground clearance. Amongst its features we can find the Harmon Kardon audio system, rear-view camera, sat-nav, infotainment and smart phone integration, amongst others.
Power to the 2014 Subaru Forester is being provided by a 2.5 liter four-cylinder boxer engine, which is producing a total output of 170 HP and it has a peak torque of 174 lb-ft. A 2.0 liter turbochargd boxer is also available, with its 250 HP and 258 lb-ft, which can be mated to a high-torque CVT with six speeds and eight speeds manual modes (HDC), while the 2.5L is getting a six-speed manual or the Lineatronic CVT.
