The 2015 Subaru WRX has been officially presented to the public in a premiere, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Following several teased and leaked images with the car, the 2015 Subaru WRX is finally here and it has been officially unveiled during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The model in question has almost nothing in common with the concept car and the company says that the front and rear bumpers, the hood, the rear doors, front fenders, headlights and taillights are unique to this model, along with the 17-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx RT tires.
The cabin of the 2015 Subaru WRX has been influenced by the one of the Impreza and it’s coming with features like the fabric sport seats, the soft touch materials, the flat bottom steering wheel, the 4.3-inch multi information display, the new instrument cluster, the automatic climate control and more. Optional features available for the model include the 440-watt Harman / Kardon audio system, the leather seats or the heated front seats.
As far as the engine goes, the 2015 Subaru WRX is taking its power from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder boxer turbocharged unit, which is producing a total output of 268 HP (200 kW) and 349 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The unit can be mated to a new optional Sport Lineatronic CVT, which has the Subaru Intelligent Drive and it’s providing three different driving modes, the Intelligent, the Sport and the Sport Sharp. No pricing details on the 2015 Subaru WRX have been announced yet.
