The British based automaker Jaguar has recently unveiled the F-Type sports car during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Jaguar F-Type has recently made its public debut over-seas during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, after it was unveiled in Europe a few months ago. Even if the British based automaker has initially announced that the model to be unveiled in Los Angeles will be dressed in the “Black Pack” performance trim, the sports car was actually finished in orange and no details on the performance trim have been released yet so our guess is that the vehicle brought to the over-seas automotive event was standard.
Jaguar says that the F-Type will become available in three versions, with the so-called F-Type being powered by a 3.0 liter V6 engine, producing a total output of 340 HP, the F-Type S getting a 3.0 liter V6 with 380 HP and the top of the line F-Type V8 S will be powered by a V8 engine, which will generate 495 HP and 625 Nm of torque. The most powerful version of the F-Type can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 275 km/h and prices for this version will start at 79,950 GBP in the United Kingdom.
