After it was unveiled at the end of October and then publicly displayed during the Dubai Motor Show (5-9 November), Land Rover has also brought the Range Rover with long wheelbase to the Los Angeles Auto Show.
If the normal Range Rover model with its 5 meters length were not enough for you, the L version comes with 5.2 meters of car and brings an additional 140mm increase in rear legroom. The increase in length has also enabled the rear seats to recline to 17 degrees, which is 8 degrees more than on the standard model.
“L” will be available for the Vogue, Vogue SE, Autobiography and Autobiography Black models, as well as for the Hybrid version starting next year. It will also have powered side door blinds and a panoramic sunroof as standard equipment along with an increased stowage capacity.
Sitting at the top of the top of the range model is the aforementioned Autobiography Black, which promises to provide an interior “carefully crafted and tailored to meet customer needs with subtle but distinctive exterior detailing”. In addition, Land Rover says this version of the Range Rover will offer “the highest quality leathers and materials” and will come with two exclusive sets of seven-spoke 21- and 22-inch alloys featuring a high gloss polished finish.
