The Maserati Ghibli has made its U.S. debut during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The model in question is sharing the same platform with the new generation of the Quattroporte and the cheapest version can be yours from 65,600 USD. The Maserati Ghibli is an alternative to the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, to the BMW 5-Series and to the Audi A6 and it has been officially unveiled earlier this year.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the model is coming with a 3.0 liter V6 twin turbo engine in two outputs, with 330 HP (243 kW) and 500 Nm of torque and with 410 HP (301 kW) and 550 Nm of torque. The Ghibli is also the first Maserati ever to receive a diesel engine, in the shape of a 3.0 liter turbocharged V6, which is producing a total output of 275 HP (202 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in this version takes 6.3 seconds and the average fuel consumption stands at 6.0L / 100 km (39.2 mpg US / 47 mpg UK).
