Mercedes-Benz has officially introduced the AMG-GT on the North American continent, in a premiere, during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The model in question is the company’s newest sports car and it has already made its public debut, a couple of months ago, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The vehicle is the successor of the SLS AMG but, despite this, it is also smaller, lighter, cheaper and less powerful.
On the Old Continent, prices for the Mercedes-AMG GT start from 115,430 euros, for the base entry-lever version, while for the AMG GT S, they will be setting you back for 134,351 euros. The sports car has a 4.0 liter biturbo newly developed V8 engine under its hood, which, in the cheapest model, it is capable of producing no less than 462 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, while in the AMG GT S, it has 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The Mercedes-AMG GT will become available for order soon in the United States too.
