Volkswagen has introduced the CrossBlue Coupe Concept to the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe Concept is making a comeback after it has been officially presented to the public during the Auto Shanghai, back in April this year, after the carmaker has decided to bring it to the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The model stands at 4,889 mm in length, 2,015 mm in width and 1,673 mm in height, riding on a 2,980 mm long wheelbase and sitting on 22-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 285/45 tires. Its total boot capacity is 1,101 liters with the rear seats folded down and 537 liters with the seats up.
Power to the VW CrossBlue Coupe Concept is being provided by the same 3.0 liter V6 TSI engine, backed up by two electric motors, generating 53 HP (40 kW) and 113 HP (85 kW) respectively. The total output produced stands at 409 HP (305 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, which can be sent to the FWD, the AWD or the RWD through a 6-speed dual clutch transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 5.9 seconds and top speed stands at 236 km/h (146 mph). The model can be driven in electric mode for 33 km (21 miles).
