The Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo has been officially introduced recently in Los Angeles.
After it has been unveiled almost six months ago, in Austria, the Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo is continuing to make a fuzz with its North American debut at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, recently. The model in question is just one of the latest in a long line of vehicles created specifically for Gran Turismo 6 and it has an appealing design with an aggressively raked wrap around windscreen and a speedster overall look.
The new Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo has a 3.0 liter twin turbo VR6 engine under its hood, which has been rated at 503 HP (375 kW). The peak torque stands at 665 Nm (491 lb-ft) and the unit is connected to a 7-speed DSG transmission, feeding the 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. VW hasn’t announced any performance details for the model in question, at the moment, and it will probably never will, but this is still one eye-catching ride, especially with its 20-inch alloy wheels, covered in 235/35 and 275/30 front to rear tires.
