LA Auto Show: 2017 Buick LaCrosse teased in new footage [videos] image

The Los Angeles Auto Show, the last major auto event in North America this year, is drawing ever closer so the automakers are delivering last minute teasers to entice the public to upcoming models.

Now it’s Buick’s turn to deliver two new teaser videos for its upcoming 2017 LaCrosse which will have its official worldwide premiere in front of the public during the LA Auto Shwo on November 18. The new introduction promises to jolt up the Buick image by delivering an attractive model that takes numerous hints and styling features from the appreciated Avenir concept. Being teaser videos, we are almost left in the dark when it comes to exterior design but we saw the new introduction will come with a waterfall grille featuring the tri-shield logo on a wing-shaped element. Also present are some sleek front lights, front fender vents and sloping body styling, which bode well with the muscular rear fenders and the premium rear end with integrated spoiler.

The video depicting the interior let loose some details about the four-spoke steering wheel, chrome door handles and the presence of a new gear lever. We are also expecting an entirely new center console and some metallic trim for added upscale flair. The brand has not yet revealed any technical details save form the fact that its 2017 LaCrosse rides on an entirely new architecture – lighter and more durable than the one found on the outgoing model. Other highlights include a new five-link rear suspension that will go a long way towards delivering a more enticing driving experience.
