The Lada Revolution 2, was a concept car presented in 2003 by Russian brand Lada. It was an open, single-seater sports car powered by a 1.6 L engine producing 215 hp (160 kW). It was said to be able achieve 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph).
Now, at Paris Motor Show, Lada returns with a new version of its concept: Revelution 3.
Powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged Renault engine who delivers a total power of 245bhp, this new concept can reach 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds ( yes is not very impressive, but is a LADA ! ) . Maximum speed, for this 4.2 meters concept, is 250km/h. More interesting is that, Russian automaker compare it with Porsche Cayman and claim that is faster. Yes, maybe, but Cayman is a real car, not another concept that will most likely never see production.
