The first images with the cabin of the upcoming Lada XRAY have hit the web, revealing us some of the bits and pieces of the car.
The production version of the Lada XRAY is just around the corner but before it will be officially unveiled, the carmaker is playing the “teasing game” with us, by releasing some images with its cabin. We can notice the leather wrapped steering wheel, the USB and AUX ports on the CD player, a climate control and a manual transmission equipping this particular model. This also has door mounted front electric window controls, a multi-function steering wheel with a 3-spoke design and a black upholstery with grey accents for the seats.
In case you have no clue on what the Lada XRAY is actually, we will tell you that this will be based on the Dacia Sandero Stepway. The vehicle in question already has the climate control buttons similar to the ones of the Romanian hatchback and it is believed to be offered with a couple of petrol burners under its hood, the 1.6 liter and the 1.8 liter, both of them naturally aspirated, producing 114 HP (84 kW) and 122 HP (90 kW). A diesel option will most likely be offered too, but this remains in the shadows at this time. Manual and automatic transmissions will become available too and front-wheel drive will be standard. However, AvtoVAZ will also be offering a Dacia Duster-sourced 4×4 system, but as an option. The starting price of the car will stand at approximately 7,500 euros.
