Lamborghini has released a few official images with the one-off 5-95 by Zagato, which has been introduced at Lake Como, in Italy, over the past weekend.
After being officially presented to the public during the 2014 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, at Lake Como, in Italy, the new Lamborghini 5-95 by Zagato is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a few official images, which have been released by the company. The model in question has been commissioned by Albert Spiess, who is a significant Lamborghini collector.
“I always appreciated the ability of Zagato to create timeless lines with a forceful visual impact. I believe that a sensual design inspired by nature, together with the best technology, strike a perfect balance that is possible to achieve only in Italy. The 5-95 will be a fundamental piece of my collection”, said Spiess.
The Lamborghini 5-95 by Zagato is based on the Gallardo LP570-4 and it has received a completely new body, made by Zagato. No performance specifications have been announced yet but chances are this might come with the 5.2 liter V10 engine of the Gallardo, rated at 562 HP (419 kW). The LP570-4 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and it has a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).
