Lamborghini Ad Personam Huracan donated to Pope Francis for charity image

We wonder if a Diablo – even sold for a good cause like this one – would have received the same blessing from the Pontiff. No matter, this is a Huracan that’s going under the hammer at an upcoming charity auction.

RM Sotheby’s taking care of the sale that’s scheduled on May 12, 2018 and we’re pretty sure it’s going to sell fast and for a high price as it carries the signature of Pope Francis. The bespoke rear-wheel drive Lamborghini Huracán is going to auction and all the proceeds will benefit groups like Aid to the Church in Need, the Pope John XXIII Community, hand surgeon Dr. Marco Lanzetta’s GICAM, and Friends of Central Africa. It’s not just any other RWD Huracan, because Lambo’s Ad Personam customization unit worked its magic on the example, which came out with a fitting shade that pays its respects to the Vatican City flag.

The Bianco Monocerus white body has Giallo Tiberino goldish yellow stripes on the center and around the windows, and the Pope’s signature is on the driver’s side of the hood near the windshield. Lamborghini decided to present it as a gift to the Pontiff, and of course the model doesn’t fit Pope Francis’ austere style very well – but it’s a great appetizer for collectors that will also help those in need. And we may remember this is not the first supercar – Ferrari also awarded the last Enzo to the Pontiff back in the day.
