The brand new Lamborghini Asterion has leaked out once again ahead of its public debut which will take place later on this week, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Lamborghini has finally decided to create a rival for the Ferrari LaFerrari, for the Porsche 918 Spyder and for the McLaren P1, in the shape of the Asterion, which will be officially introduced at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this week. The model in question is basically a concept hybrid supercar, with a revolutionary styling, aimed towards the three vehicles mentioned above. The hybrid powertrain hasn’t been confirmed by Lamborghini just yet.
If it will indeed be a hybrid supercar, than the Lamborghini Asterion will be taking its power form the V10 engine which will work together with no less than three electric motors. The total output produced by this assembly will stand at approximately 900 HP (662 kW). There is another possibility with the Asterion, that this will become a new entry-level supercar, which will be positioned below the Huracan. Sadly this is all we’ve got on the Asterion for the moment so we will have to wait for the French automotive event to open its gates in order to find out more about it.
