The first rendering with the Lamborghini Asterion Spyder may provide us with a first look into a future possible production version of the model.
The Lamborghini Asterion has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, just a few days ago, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, but the company hasn’t announce a production version for the moment. Even so, considering the fact that the competition is offering hybrid supercar for more than a year now, such as the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder, chances are we will get to see a customer ready variant of the model, sometimes next year.
If this will finally happen, than chances are that the Asterion will also get a convertible version and it will be very similar to the rendering posted above, which has been signed by Evren Milano. The Asterion has a 5.2 liter V10 naturally aspirated gasoline burner under its hood, from the Huracan, which is producing 610 HP. The unit is backed up by three electric motors, all providing an extra 300 HP. The total output stands at 910 HP (669 kW) and the supercar can be driven in electric mode for 50 km up to speeds of 125 km/h (78 mph). In hybrid mode, the 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 3 seconds and the supercar can reach 320 km/h (199 mph).
