The Lamborghini Asterion is believed to hit the production line in the near future as the model should be priced from approximately 350, 000 GBP.
I’m pretty sure all of you remember the Lamborghini Asterion as this will be a competitor for the Ferrari LaFerrari, the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1. The hybrid supercar has been officially presented to the public at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, as a concept, and now it is ready to storm the market. According to a recent report published by Autocar, the Asterion will be reaching the production line in the near future as the company needs such a model.
Rumors are saying that the production version of the Lamborghini Asterion will probably come with the same engine as the concept car, the 5.2 liter V10 engine, which is used on the Huracan too, producing 610 HP, backed up by three electric motors, generating 300 HP. The total output of the assembly will stand at approximately 910 HP (669 kW). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the supercar needs just 3 seconds and it can go all the way up to 320 km/h (199 mph). The Asterion will be significantly cheaper than its rivals, standing in at 350,000 GBP.
