The aftermarket specialists at Novitec Rosso have recently released the first teaser images with an upgrade package aimed towards the Lamborghini Aventador.
The Lamborghini Aventador seems to be favored by most tuning houses out there, as its main competitors, the Ferrari 458 Italia and the McLaren MP4-12C, have been left aside for the moment. The newest tuning package for the impressive Italian supercar is signed by Novitec Rosso, which has announced a new sub-brand, the Torado, aimed on modifying Lamborghini vehicles. The first supercar to be upgraded by Torado will be an Aventador, and the model will be unveiled in July.
Additional details on Novitec Rosso’s Lamborghini Aventador Torado upgrades are limited for the moment, but as a quick reminder, the regular supercar is taking its power from a large 6.5 liter V12 engine which is producing a total output of 690 horsepower. The unit is mated to a seven-speed single clutch transmission, which is helping the Italian supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph). The Lamborghini Aventador is burning an average of 17.2 liters of fuel every 100 km (13.5 mpg) and it’s emitting 398 g/km of CO2.
