The driver of a rare Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario has managed to crash his ride in Hong Kong, after pushing the gas pedal too hard and losing control of the wheels.
Supercar as being crashed more often these days and the most recent example is involving a very rare edition of the Aventador, called the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario. The model in question has hit a cliff in Hong Kong and if we’re not mistaking, this is actually the first recorded incident with such a model. The good news is that no one was injured in the crash but the bad news is that the supercar will need a complete makeover in order to return to its former glory.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario has been produced in just 200 units, 100 for the Coupe and 100 for the Roadster, and it’s actually commemorating the 50th anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini. The supercar in question has been introduced just last year and it has 710 HP (530 kW) thanks to a new specific engine calibration. The model also has enlarged and extended front air intakes, an aerodynamic splitter, a modified rear end, small flaps on its sides and some other tweaks.
