Lamborghini has recently announced its plans to introduce the Aventador Roadster to Malaysia, where the supercar’s starting price will be set at RM3 million.
After it was unveiled just a few weeks ago, the newest supercar in Lamborghini’s lineup, the Aventador Roadster, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the Italian based automaker announcing its plans to introduce it to Malaysia too. But if you live in the Asian country and you want to buy the Aventador Roadster get ready to wait up to 18 months after placing your order and withdraw at least RM3 million from your bank account, because this is the starting price of the supercar locally.
As a quick reminder, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is powered by the 6.5 liter V12 engine, the same one used on the Coupe version too, which is producing the same amount of 690 HP. The unit is mated to a seven-speed automated transmission which is allowing the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3 seconds, or in 2.9 seconds for the Coupe, before reaching a top speed of 217 mph. The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is coming with a cylinder deactivation system and with the Stop / Start system.
