The first images with the second body style of the recently unveiled Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce, the Roadster, have recently hit the web.
If you were concerned by the fact that the Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce may feel alone, forget about those thoughts because the “raging bull” is getting ready to officially pull the wraps off yet another version of the supercar, the Roadster. The images posted below have been posted by Jordan Shiraki, and the model in question has been finished in Blu Glauco, following the same footsteps as the solid roof version but adding a carbon roof, which is removable and weighing in just 6 kg.
The total weight of the supercar has increased by 50 kg but despite this, our source is saying that the performance will be identical to the coupe. This basically means that the same 6.5 liter V12 naturally aspirated V12 engine will be used under its hood, producing a total output of 750 HP (552 kW) and allowing the supercar to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds. If the Aventador SV will be produced in 600 units, 200 for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, 200 for Asia Pacific countries and 200 for North and South America, you should know that the Roadster will be even more exclusive as it is believed to be put together in 500 units. The vehicle is being referred to as a 2017 model year and this means that chances are that it will be officially introduced in 2016.
