With only 600 units of the Aventador SV being offered so far, Lamborghini has been spotted recently testing the open-top version of the hot flagship model.
There is no surprise anymore that Lamborghini is currently testing out the Aventador Roadster as the model has been the subject of several spy shots and reports, and it is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of several images. The particular supercar has been spotted recently without any camouflage added to its body and we can notice the appealing shade along with the black accents covering its body.
Rumor has it that the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster will be officially presented to the public in less than 2 months, during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, but this still has to be confirmed by the Italian based automaker. The model in question will be identically the same as its solid roof brother, except, of course, for the roof, which will be removable. We are not sure at this point whether its panels will have to be removed by the driver, manually, or if the company will invent a system to do it automatically. One thing is for sure though, expect the same 6.5 liter V12 naturally aspirated engine under its hood, producing 750 HP (552 kW). The coupe needs 2.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) so expect 2.9 seconds or 3.0 seconds for the open-top.
