Lamborghini will be officially pulling the wraps off the new Aventador SV Roadster during the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Announced just earlier this year, the upcoming Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce Roadster will be officially presented to the public at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The announcement hasn’t been made by the company, at this point, and it is actually part of a report, signed by the guys from Autocar. According to our source, the new supercar which will be coming to life in Sant’Agata Bolognese, will be limited to just 500 units and the company has apparently started accepting orders for it last month.
The vehicle will be based, obviously, on the regular version of the Aventador and it will be the drop-top variant of the already available Aventador SV. The standard Aventador Super Veloce has a 150 percent increased aerodynamic efficiency and 170 percent increased downforce than the regular supercar, making use of the 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, which has been upgraded and it is now capable of sending a total of 750 HP (552 kW) to the all-wheel drive system, allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds. The Aventador SV is the spiritual successor of the Miura SV, Diablo SV and Murcielago SV and it is limited to 600 units, 200 for Europe, Middle East and Africa, 200 for Asia Pacific and 200 for North and South America. All examples have been sold out.
