A new rendering with the Lamborghini Cabrera has recently made its way onto the web and we can clearly see influences from its larger brother, the Aventador.
The Lamborghini is already working on a successor for the popular Gallardo, which has been in production for 10 years, and the model will be named the Cabrera. The new Italian supercar is currently being tested on race tracks from across the Old Continent and everywhere it appears, someone manages to take a few photos of it. But the image posted above isn’t representing a testing session but it is actually a new rendering, which is helping us imagine what the final production version may look like.
The Lamborghini Cabrera is believed to weigh less than 1,500 kg once it will hit the market and it will continue on the same path with the Audi R8, as the two supercars will ride on the same platform and they will get similar underpinnings. Power to the Italian supercar will be provided by a 5.2 liter V10 naturally aspirated engine, which could produce as much as 600 HP (447 kW) and 541 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque. Additional details on the Lamborghini Cabrera remain unknown for the moment.
