A new rendering with the Lamborghini Cabrera has recently made its way onto the web and it’s showing us the upcoming supercar in the coupe body style and in a yellow finish.
Our colleagues from Auto Week have recently posted a new rendering with the upcoming Lamborghini Cabrera. The model in question is coming in a coupe body style, it has a yellow finish and it’s riding on some large five-spoke wheels. The design of the new supercar looks very similar to that of its bigger brother, the Aventador, but we can also see some different lines, smaller headlights, a lowered roof and a smaller overall design.
The Lamborghini Cabrera will be the official replacement of the popular Gallardo, which is leaving the production line after 10 years. The new supercar will share its platform and some underpinning s with a new Audi R8 and its total weight should stand at less than 1,500 kg (3,306 lbs). Power is expected to be provided by an upgraded 5.2 liter V10 engine, which will produce approximately 600 HP (447 kW) and it will be mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The Lamborghini Cabrera will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and it will reach a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).
