New renderings with the Lamborghini Cabrera have hit the web recently and they might provide us with a first look into what the model might actually look like.
The Lamborghini Cabrera moniker is entering our news once again, after many months, and this happens thanks to a couple of renderings, which made their way onto the web. The Lamborghini Cabrera is the name which will most likely be used on the replacement of the popular Gallardo and the new entry-level supercar will probably take its styling cues from the larger Aventador and from the impressive Sesto Elemento. Models like the Veneno or the Egoista Concept will help its styling too.
The final production version of the Lamborghini Cabrera will be powered by a V10 engine, according to recent rumors, which will produce at least 610 HP (448 kW) and 575 Nm of torque (424 lb-ft). The 1,309 kg (2,887 lbs) supercar will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and its dual-clutch transmission will send power to the all-wheel drive system. A rear-wheel drive version is expected to make its way onto the market eventually. A manual transmission and a hybrid variant aren’t considered. The Cabrera might take everyone by surprise and it might be unveiled during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
