Our spy photographers have managed to catch the Cabrera on camera on the road once again, as the new supercar was being tested.
The Lamborghini Cabrera will soon replace the Gallardo, which has left the production line just a day ago, and in between teaser images and renderings, our spy photographers have managed to provide us with the latest pics of the upcoming supercar. The new Lamborghini Cabrera has been caught on camera with a clear look, as the heavy disguise has been dropped for this test, which was conducted in Southern Europe.
The upcoming Lamborghini Cabrera is believed to get a modified version of the 5.2 liter V10 engine under its hood, which will produce approximately 600 HP and this probably means that the model will be known as the LP600-4, as AWD will become available for it, along with rear-wheel drive too, in some cases. Power will be sent to the wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, which will probably become the only one, as a manual isn’t being planned. The structure of the Cabrera, along with some underpinnings, will be shared with the upcoming Audi R8 generation. The Lamborghini Cabrera is said to be unveiled next February, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
