The Italian based automaker Lamborghini has released the first ever teaser image with the Cabrera, which will become Gallardo’s successor very soon.
Just a day after officially pulling the plug on the Lamborghini Gallardo, with the last unit of the rear mid-engined, rear-wheel drive supercar rolling off the production line, the Italian based automaker has released the first teaser with its successor, the so-called Cabrera. The company didn’t say much about the upcoming model but we already know that it will get a design similar to the one used on the Aventador, along with a brand new interior and new technologies.
The Lamborghini Cabrera will be coming with LED taillights, with a slim design, with a quad exhaust system, with slim headlights and a platform shared with the future generation of the Audi R8, along with some other underpinnings. As far as the engine goes, the upcoming Lamborghini Cabrera is believed to pack the 5.2 liter V10 unit under its hood, which will be modified and it will produce approximately 600 HP. Rumors are saying that the successor of the Gallardo will be officially presented to the public next year, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in February, but no details have been released yet on the subject.
